Yesterday 95 - Nostalgia (CD)

£8.00

Dive into the past, the present and the retro-future with Nostalgia!

Yesterday 95 are back with their 10th Studio album, Nostalgia. Featuring the bands take on 80’s AOR, Blues and synth injected Alternative Rock. All 19 tracks represent Yesterday 95’s longest and most coherent yet diverse record to date. The album explores a multitude of genres while retaining the classic rock aesthetic the duo has developed on previous albums like Fragments and Perfect Distractions. However, Nostalgia has doubled down on up tempo songs, memorable riffs and extended jam sections on tracks such as Circuit Breaker as well as Phonetic Aesthetic, displaying Yesterday 95 at their most creative and inspired yet. The album features a reimagined version of Fragment’s Day Off (Radio Edit) a retro Rock track with a modern twist, initially written as an anthem for retail workers who work at the weekend. Mixed by Dale Penner (Nickelback) and mastered by Tim Young (Queen) (The Killers), Yesterday 95 draw many inspirations from bands like The Darkness, Def Leppard, M83 and modern 80’s influenced offerings from bands like Gunship and The Midnight.
